Our
Projects
At Biogastura, we believe real change happens on the ground. Our projects focus on installing biogas systems directly in rural communities while building trust and educating families on clean energy. Here's a look at what we've done — and where we're headed.

Bogor Biodigester Installation
In our first pilot project, we traveled to a village in Bogor, West Java, to install a biodigester that converts cow manure into biogas for cooking. We partnered with local farmers and families to guide the installation, provide training on daily use and maintenance, and document the transformation of their cooking methods. This system now provides a safer, cleaner alternative to wood stoves — helping reduce emissions, deforestation, and health risks from smoke exposure.

Lembang Biodigester Installation
In our second project, we expanded to Lembang, West Java, to build another biodigester that turns cow manure into biogas. This site allowed us to refine our process, working closely with farmers to adapt the system to their daily routines and ensure long-term sustainability. Alongside installation, we provided training on usage, safety, and maintenance, helping families transition away from wood-based cooking. The project not only reduces smoke-related health risks but also lowers household expenses by replacing costly fuels with renewable energy generated on-site.
